Valerie Brandes featured in TfL's "City of Women" Tube Map

Transport for London has launched a commemorative Tube map with stations named after inspirational women for International Women's Day.

Valerie Brandes has replaced Angel tube station along the Northern Line. The map also features Monroe Burgdorf, Evelyn Dove, Belly Mujinga and many more.

City of Women London was launched by Reni Eddo-Lodge, author of the best-selling Why I’m No Longer Talking To White People About Race, and actress Emma Watson. An interactive version of the map has been developed by University College London, with biographies and interviews from some of the women, which you can see here. A print copy of the map is also available to buy from Amazon.
