Founder Valerie Brandes is included in Google x #BlackPoundDay campaign and featured in Time Out London

The #BlackPoundDay initiative has teamed up with Google to launch an advertisement campaign highlighting a variety of Black-owned businesses, which we are delighted to be included in.

The campaign was launched in this week’s edition of Time Out London and has been met with a lot of positivity.

After the death of George Floyd and the subsequent protests all over the world. Black Pound Day was developed by Solid Crew’s, Swiss, and launched in June.

The spending power of the Black community in the UK is approximately £300 billion, but only 3% of Black people's income is reinvested into their community. Therefore the aim of Black Pound Day is to support the growth of Black-owned businesses in the UK and make buying from them not a form of protest, but a habit.

With an eclectic array of products and services on offer, as well as the ease of online retail it has never been easier to spend differently, and buy Black.

Jacaranda will be offering a 10% discount on all products for this #BlackPoundDay; Saturday 7th November.
